Practicing the Six Perfections (Paramitas) cultivates loving kindness and compassion. By applying generosity, ethics, patience, effort, meditation and wisdom throughout the day, one counteracts the egocentric mentality and purifies the mind, allowing wisdom to arise naturally. Her Eminence Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche is the daughter of His Holiness Mindrolling Trichen, one of the most renowned Tibetan Buddhist Lamas of this era. Born into the Mindrolling lineage, which has had many accomplished female masters, Tsering Paldrön was recognized at the age of 10 months by His Holiness the 16th Karmapa as the re-incarnation of the Great Dakini of Tsurphu, Khandro Urgyen Tsomo, one of the most well-known female masters of her time. The present Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche holds the lineages of both Nyingma and Kagyu traditions and has received teachings and transmissions from some of the most revered masters of the 20th Century. Currently serving as resident teacher at Lotus Garden Retreat Center in Virginia, Rinpoche speaks fluent English and travels worldwide to teach and oversee her charitable projects.
