• Was born in the Maysho region in east Tibet to a devoted Buddhist family.
  
  
• Was recognized by Shamar Yeshe Nyingpo and Gyaltsap Norbu  Sangpo as the next Karmapa in accordance with the instruction letter of the tenth Karmapa.
  
  
• Received teachings and mahamudra lineage transmissions from Shamarpa.
  
  
• Received the terma teachings from Yong-Ge Mingur Dorje and Taksham Nuden Dorje.
  
  
• Yeshe Dorje was a great visionary who performed many miracles.
  
  
• Located and identified the eight Shamarpa who became his close studentand next lineage holder.
  
  
• Passed into prinirvana at the age of twenty seven after leaving a detail prediction letter with Shamar Palchen Chokyi Dondrub concerning his next incarnation.
