Vajrasattva meditation practice is the specific practice of purification. When an individual recites and visualizes the 100-Syllable Mantra of Vajrasattva during the Vajrasattva meditation, one can completely uproot all negative karma, purify all negative habitual patterns of behavior and remove obstructions from our spiritual practice for attaining realization. Vajrasattva meditation is also one of the preliminary practices of the Ngöndro in Tibetan Buddhism. Please come for one or more of these events

Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche was born in 1922 in Eastern Tibet. He entered Thrangu Monastery at the age of twelve, where he underwent many years of training, long retreats, pilgrimages, and philosophical studies. Today Rinpoche is the abbot of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Monastery (KTD) in Woodstock, New York, and also the teacher of many dharma students around the world.
